Who it's for
Adults who want to learn boxing in a place that puts respect first.
This is for adults who are curious about boxing and want to learn it the right way, in a room that values patience and good fundamentals as much as power.
You do not need experience or to be in fighting shape. You start at your level, with people who are learning too, in the same welcoming culture that runs through everything we do.
What to expect
What class looks like.
Hand wraps and comfortable clothes are enough to start. Loaner gloves are available for your first class. Class runs about an hour with a warmup, footwork and technique work, and mitt or bag drilling at a pace that fits each person.
Nobody is pushed into sparring on day one. You learn the basics, build confidence and conditioning, and progress when you are ready.
We are upstairs at 35 E Jackson St in Front Royal, inside BattleGrounds Fitness. Come up the stairs and say hello.

T-Brick's Brick Squad
Coached by a pro who put together a winning record.
Terry "T-Brick" Roy was a professional boxer who made his debut in 2006 and compiled a career record of 8 wins, 4 losses, and 2 draws.
Across 14 professional bouts, Roy earned a reputation as a tough, competitive fighter. The nickname "T-Brick" fit the kind of durability and grit associated with his career. He was not simply someone who stepped into the ring; he put together a winning professional record over the course of his run.
Terry now coaches boxing at Riverbend Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, where he leads a co-ed boxing program open to both youth and adults. His classes bring different ages and experience levels together under one roof.
